三國連太郎さんが植樹した月桂樹の木

故・三國連太郎さん（俳優）がまだま村にやってきたのは今から２０年ほど前。念ずれば花ひらく石碑に願いをこめてノミ入れし、その石碑の横に植樹していただいた月桂樹の木。時を経て、こんなにも大きくなりました。
連太郎さんはまだま村の庭に鳥が運んできた名もなき白い花の前に立ち止り、「これなんて花だろうなぁ・・・」と、映画のワンシーンのような表情でつぶやいていらっしゃったそうです。
Late Mr. Rentarou Mikuni he was a well-known Japanese actor.He came toour cafe 20years ago. At the time he was shooting a film for his movie around our area. He heard about our cafe that sounds very interesting to him.And he came to our cafe in the garden ,and he stood in front of the sacred stone called
”Nenzureba hana hiraku”means ”When you truly believe your wishes come true like a flower in full bloom” He made a wishes for a while .After the ceremony,he transplanted the seedlingof a laurel tree. And its still growing and it became a big tree.
